I've heard it said that the sweetest sound to a person's ear is the sound of their own name.
It's true too, most of the time.
When I was a child, doing something wrong – I generally got all my names … at full volume.
That wasn't so good.
But the right person saying your name can be a moment to treasure.
So I have another option that can be a precious gift to others or to yourself.
It is the gift of silence.
