This is disgusting very up set mum

Hi everyone I would like to let as many people in invercargill as possible pretty upset mother . Yesterday afternoon my daughter an neice aged 11 an 12 were heading to South city though the cricket field in Appleby an came a cross a junky looking needle which looked to have blood missed with olny god knows what they both came home rather disturbed seen after just about standing on it so I got a jar an got them to show me were it was . I have no words for how careless this is to our children an animals or anybody for that matter. I have message southland times an what's on inverz but thought I out put it up there as well I did jar it an put it n my bin not that I wanted to but it's gotta be better then leaving it there for someone to get hurt

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
