Southern students get a taste of the international hospitality industry
After almost 10 years Ethan Flack and Brendon Baucke found themselves back in their high school kitchen.
The pair, who now work at two reputable restaurants in England, visited Southland Boys' High School to give the next generation some advice about the hospitality industry and lead them in a cooking demonstration on Friday.
Baucke has been working for the Roux Brothers as a junior sous-chef at the Roux at Landau Restaurant inside the landmark Langham Hotel in London for about two years.
