Community Choir
Do you like singing with others?
If you are 8 - 18 years you could join JVOV (a Christian choir) for a small fee each term. If you are under 8 you could participate free when supervised by your caregiver. If you are over 18 you could participate as a volunteer. We have one adult volunteer per ten children as JVOV members also enjoy a variety of wholesome activities within the community. Practises are on Tuesdays 4 pm at WEA 100 Esk Street.
JVOV's Christmas pageant 2017 was sweet. Perhaps you might like to try JVOV this term as we prepare for Easter pageant.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
