Rabbit Virus RHDV1 K5
In the Southland Times today it says the RHDV1 K5 Rabbit Virus is knocking off Rabbits in Otago.
I have spoken to North Rd / Waikiwi vets about this and what the chances are of getting the vaccine for pet Rabbits of which i have a couple. They tell me they can only try to order in lots of 10 vaccine. So i'm asking on here, if you have a pet Rabbit and want them vaccinated then phone and order it and put your name down for it through North Road Vets so they can get onto it and get some in. I dont know the cost - but if they arent vaccinated we are liable to loosing our little bunnies.
I have my name there for it but when i enquired a couple of weeks ago, nobody else had yet come forward requesting it.
