Southland-trained horse Costa Del Magnifico will try and make history this weekend by winning the Invercargill Cup.
if successful, Costa Del Magnifico will be the first in 20 years to win two Cups since Prince Rashad completed the double in 1996-97.
Costa Del Magnifico will also be the lone Southland-trained horse in Saturday's Invercargill Cup.
