Great Scott! Yellow-eyed bees
When Geoff Scott popped the lid of his bee hive open something unusual stared back at him - yellow eyes.
An experienced bee keeper, who is responsible for looking after about 50 hives throughout Southland, Scott had thought he had just about seen it all.
But even he was taken aback by the yellow-eyed bee.
