Doctor Strange - Starting Thursday 27th October, 8.15pm
Based on the Marvel Comic character - Dr Stephen Strange - whose life changes following a car accident which robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he sets out on a journey and encounters a powerful sorcerer known as the ‘Ancient One’, who later becomes Strange's mentor in the mystic arts. Brilliant special effects which lead the Hollywood Reporter to observe “that Doctor Strange enters a dazzling zone in which whole slabs of the New York cityscape fold down, multiply and assume new configurations in ways that take their cue from Inception but go far beyond it in visual spectacle.” This movie also has an excellent cast with Benedict Cumberbatch, Tilda Swindon, Rachel McAdams and Mads Mikkelsen.
