Poll: Is the government doing enough to support Northland’s recovery from the floods?

Ripu Bhatia Reporter from Community News

The government has allocated $500,000 for organisations, services and projects supporting flood recovery efforts in Northland.

The fund can be accessed through grants, but grant money is not available to individuals who have suffered personal loss or property damage.

Millions of dollars in damages were caused to buildings, homes and vehicles in Northland during the floods on July 17 and 18.

Do you think the government’s support goes far enough?
