As our lives regain some sort of normality following our nationwide home lockdown it seems that many have used the enforced down time to renew or learn new handcraft skills. Over the past weeks we've seen very high interest in our bamboo fabric range with many orders for our fabric sample packs by home and trade customers. With uses as diverse as lingerie, sportswear and sanitary items the softness, absorbency and odour combatting qualities of bamboo ticks plenty of boxes for possible uses. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
