MetService has issued a heavy rain and strong wind watch for Mount Taranaki.
RAIN:
Valid: Until 3:00pm today.
Forecast: A period of heavy rain. Rainfall accumulations may approach warning criteria.
WIND:
Forecast: Northerly winds may approach severe gale in exposed places.
An update for severe weather will be issued by 9:00pm Tuesday 3 Dec 2019.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
