Traffic safety

Julie Neighbourly Lead from Havelock North

Just a suggestion. If you are turning right, across traffic, at peak time…don’t. Te Mata Rd has plenty of roundabouts. Use them to get onto the right side of the road to turn left into the streets you want to get to. I.e Hereworth School.
Don’t stop at the top of cul de sacs (especially Nimon St on the broken yellow lines) and don’t do U turns in peak traffic. Especially on Nimon St. The road is only 200m long with roundabouts at each end.
And for everyone’s sake and safety don’t stop in intersections, especially roundabouts. You cause traffic jams.
You’ll get where you are going, faster, if you follow these simple safety guides. Some of which also happen to be road rules.
