Cake Stall Fundraiser
Can you help?
Donated items wanted!
We are hosting our first Cake Stall of the year on Tuesday 14th May in Taradale, outside the Big Barrell from 8am with all proceeds going directly to Napier RDA, and we are seeking donated items such as baked goods, homemade jams and chutneys.
Please gladwrap cakes and present jams & chutneys ready to sell, including a note telling us what the item is (e.g. banana cake) and if it contains nuts.
Any and all items gratefully received!
Donated items can be delivered to Napier RDA or to 14 Aoraki Road, or please call RDA on 834 0556 or 021 133 5516 to arrange someone to collect. We would be grateful if items could be delivered by 5pm on Monday, 13th May.
If you don't fancy yourself as a baker but would like to help sell items on the day please contact Kirsty on the number above, we would love to have you.
Thank you for your support!

Have you got New Zealand's best shed? Show us and win!
Once again, Resene and NZ Gardener are on the hunt for New Zealand’s best shed! Send in the photos and the stories behind your man caves, she sheds, clever upcycled spaces, potty potting sheds and colourful chicken coops. To enter, tell us in writing (no more than 500 words) why your garden shed is New Zealand’s best, and send up to five high-quality photos by email to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz. Entries close February 23, 2026.
Step by step for a great cause!
Our amazing Hillary Hikers from Edmund Hillary Village showed their support for Bowel Cancer New Zealand's Move Your Butt campaign this month!
Sporting the bright purple and orange campaign shirts, these wonderful walkers hit the Auckland waterfront and marched from Mission Bay to Kohimarama, raising awareness for bowel cancer and the importance of early detection along the way.
