Trailer load of Honey Supers

Brenda from Twyford

Some random person drove onto our property in Mere Road today, towing a large trailer stacked with Honey Supers full of honeycomb. They unhooked the trailer, wrapped some of it in glad-wrap, and drove off again.
We have no idea who they were as they didn't even have the decency to stop at the house and say who they were and what they were doing there. So perhaps a delivery to the wrong address?
So, if you are expecting some honey supers to be delivered, and they haven't been, then they are probably yours.
If you are the person who came on to our property and left them here, and have no manners, then come and take them away again, pronto.
If you are a policeman, the trailer has no number plate or registration from what I can see - go for your life!
If this notice doesn't seem very neighbourly, it's because we already have a bunch of other peoples crap dumped here and we're tired of being taken advantage of!
If you know anything about these goings on, please phone us - 879 8847.

Scam Alert: Bank cold calls

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

ASB is warning customers about reports of cold calls from scammers claiming to be from ASB. These scammers are trying to obtain personal information, including usernames, dates of birth, and verification codes sent to your mobile phone.

🛡️ The "Caller Check" Test
If you get a call from someone claiming to be from ASB and you’re unsure, just ask them for a Caller Check. You will then be able to verify the call through the app.

Remember, banks will:
❌ Never ask for your banking passwords, PINs, or verification codes
❌ Never need to know your full credit card number – especially the CVC
❌ Never ask you to download software or remotely access your device
❌ Never ask you to purchase gift cards or transfer funds.

If you have received a phone call and think your account has been compromised, call ASB on 0800 ASB FRAUD (0800 272 372), or visit your local branch.
