1. They hope to re-open on the 16th of this month if all goes to plan.
2. It will be a 24 hours swipe card access facility.
3. I had a walk through and it is looking really well 'done up' and hooray there are new heaters in the bathrooms so it looks like we will be allowed to have them 'on' in the winter! And the pool cover will be being used as by not using it they have had to do major renovations because the moisture was in the wood etc. And the heaters for the pool and pumps were not working properly so they have new ones so will be much better and more efficient.
4. Under New Management. Apparently, there are no records of our old memberships. Not sure what will happen with the classes that were running. New Management will let us know, but if you would like to nicely convey your desires to them, I am sure you can leave a nice letter down there for the new manager to consider.
5. Totally new Sauna and looks like a big spa pool which will be a nice addition.
6. Bathrooms have all been done up and look great. Shower heads are higher so taller people will fit under them! Hooray!
7. The pool has been cleaned and the tiles around the top are actually blue!
8. Sounds like we can either pay for the Gym or the Pool or both. The swipe card will let you into the main building and then will let you in either side depending on what you have paid for.
We will need to wait for the price list and how it will work.
This is all as I understand it and am only passing it on as while I was there, three other people also came to inquire as to when it was back up and running etc. So, thought I might share what I gleaned. My apologies if anything turns out to be different. Passing this on in good faith.
Be great to have the Swim Gym back up and running. From a Member of the Public and this is not official from the Swim Gym. Just thought some of you might like to know. Cheers. Rhonda

For some, it also feels good - because the inner tunnel of your ear is loaded with nerve endings, cleaning your ears can often simulate the pleasure of an orgasm, or so they say!
But, even if it gives you pleasure and the feeling of cleanliness, cleaning your ears with cotton buds is not a good idea, and you should stop immediately, because:
- Regularly cleaning is another common cause of earwax build-up as removing the wax can stimulate the body to produce more than it needs, so you’re just making things worse.
- But there are other good reasons too. Cotton buds can push earwax further into the ear canal, causing a blockage and resulting in temporary hearing loss.
- It’s easy to scratch the inside of your ear with a cotton bud which may lead to infections.
- However, the biggest concern about using cotton buds (or any other objects) to remove earwax, is the risk of damage to the ear canal or eardrum and the potential to cause permanent harm to your hearing.
There’s only safe and approved way to remove ear wax, and that’s by microsuction, so book an appointment today!.

Once at the hut, not only do they unload their packs full of food, wine, and a souvenir rock; their hang-ups get unloaded as well.
Torrential rain and a flooded bridge keep them stranded for three days. What they get up to, to help pass the time, raises a few eyebrows and will have you laughing, tearing up and applauding enthusiastically as they bare all.
Of course, it’s not just souls that are exposed, there’s a little nudity, a cracking thunderstorm, explosions, screaming bloody murder, ghostly stories, a birthday celebration, a séance, a drunken party, confessions, meltdowns and revelations that will keep you and your friends entertained throughout.
Perfectly timed for your own social group’s ascent into summer, don’t miss this hilarious play when it comes to a town near you in November.

Are you owed a refund?
If you were in your first year of self-employment between 2002 and 2017, or paid provisional ACC levies after ceasing trading, ACC may owe you a refund.
ACC expects to refund around $100 million to approximately 300,000 business customers who were incorrectly charged levies during that time.
ACC will refund:
all first-year levies collected between 2002-2017 from self-employed customers who worked full-time (averaged over 30 hours per week over the financial year.) This affects around 106,000 customers and equates to approximately $36 million in levies.
businesses who paid provisional invoices and weren’t required to do so because they’d subsequently ceased trading or had changed their business structure. This amounts to around $64 million.
The average refund works out at about $340 (excluding GST) for first-year self-employed, and around $415 (excluding GST) for provisional payments. Customers will also receive an interest payment.
ACC expects the refund process to be completed by 31 March 2019.
What you need to do
If you think you might be eligible for a refund, ACC needs your current contact details.
Either visit acc.co.nz and fill in a web form with your contact details, or if you’re already registered for MyACC for Business, use that channel to check your contact details are up-to-date.
ACC will update their webpage as more details become available.

How did this happen?
An update to ACC’s billing and policy system identified these issues.
Preparations for a new levy system included a legal check on whether the new levy system would be compliant with regulations. ACC discovered the regulations from 2002 were drafted in a way that didn’t allow for levying of first-year self-employed.
They also uncovered the second issue with provisional invoices paid by businesses that had subsequently ceased trading or changed their business structure, but hadn’t informed ACC.
ACC suspended invoicing new self-employed customers for their first year when the issue was uncovered. No first-year invoices have been issued since March 2017, and this will continue until the regulations are updated.
“I would like to apologise to customers who have been affected, our focus now is to make this right as soon as we can,” says Phil Riley, ACC’s Head of Business Customer Service Delivery.

What's the highest price per litre of fuel you've paid for recently? Petrol prices are skyrocketing around the country, with some Kiwi motorists shelling out more than $3 a litre for fuel!
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern claims that New Zealanders are being "fleeced" at the pump, but petrol companies are pushing back on those claims.
The Government plans to rush through changes to an act, which will allow a watchdog to investigate the margins on fuel. Click here to read more about how your rising fuel taxes will be spent.
So what are your thoughts on the current price of fuel? Can you and your family afford it? Do you think the current prices need to be investigated? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below!
