Danza Fit Tuesday night
Movement is important
We have known this for along time, we are designed to move. It doesn't just benefit your muscles and joints but release a number of hormones and chemicals: Endorphins.. The Pain killer, triggered with laughter, dancing, among other things :Serotonin.. The mood Stabiliser, triggered by deep breathing, cardio and sun exposure :Dopamine... The reward/motivation chemical, triggered with exercise, listening to music, finishing a task. :Oxytocin... The love/contentment Hormone, triggered with helping others, holding hands... To mention a few..
You can call many things movement therapy, walking, chair exercises, gym classes etc.. Its finding one that fits and works for you that you enjoy and will keep doing it.
Latin Danza Fit combines a number of elements that trigger at least 3 of these hormones, music and dancing, that has you leaving class with a smile.. You may feel your not a dancer or not coordinated, but this is not important.. If you give it a try, you won't regret it and you may just find that workout/fun class that helps you move and feel good. 😊

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
