Warm and dry home with laid on tucker - for cockroaches!
"I wouldn’t be surprised if you found a cockroach in my ear", I said to Anne at the start of my consultation. Two years previously we had stayed in a motel in the South Island where there were lots of cockroaches running around. I woke one morning with a recollection that a cockroach had crawled into my ear during the night but dismissed my fears on the grounds that I was just dreaming.
Fortunately it wasn’t like an alien movie where it grew to extra large size and started to eat my brain or something and I forgot all about it as it was not causing any pain or discomfort. However, when I went to see Anne for my microsuction treatment some while later, much to my surprise Anne pulled out the body of a cockroach! I guess I didn’t dream it after all! So Anne can not only remove your earwax but large insects too!

🌉🛶 Early Birds Might Crack This One First… or Not? 🥚🧠
A person is crossing a bridge and sees a boat full of people, yet there isn't a single person on board.
How is this possible?
(Susan from Massey kindly provided this head-scratcher ... thanks, Susan!)

19mm plywood needed
Would anyone happen to have any 19mm plywood offcuts to spare? I need some for shelving.
I need two each of 670 x 260mm and 530 x 410mm, so bigger would be fine. I can cut it down.
🪱🐦 When are you the most productive? 🌙🦉
The Post has been diving into our daily habits, and research suggests being an early bird or a night owl isn’t just a choice—it’s biology! We all have that specific time when our brains finally "click" into gear.
This raises a big question for the modern workplace. To get the best out of everyone, should employers accommodate our natural body clocks? This idea is at the heart of the four-day work week and flexible scheduling movements.
We want to hear from you:
1. When does your brain "click" into gear?
2. Would a flexible (or shortened) schedule change the way you work?
