Don't miss fundraiser music night at Black Barn, Sat 10th Feb
Come along to Black Barn for this very special event with one of the worlds most renowned musicians. Ben Waters has been described by Jools Holland as one of the best pianists of all time. But don't take his word for it, come and enjoy an evening of boogie-woogie and rock and roll, supported by Cousin Leonard. Besides having a great night you will be supporting Brain Injury Association (Hawkes Bay). A charity providing essential support for those suffering from a brain injury - something which could unexpectedly happen to any of us. Tickets are still available online www.blackbarn.com...
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
