Fisher Paykel poor customer relations warning.

Robert from Havelock North

We bought a whole range of FP appliances a year ago because of their reputation. Three months ago the under bench oven failed and we called in the FP repair guy who found a cockroach had shorted out the pcb on top of the oven. We accepted that it was our fault, so paid the near $250 repair cost. We than sprayed the whole area within an inch of its life to prevent it happening again, but!
Just over a month later the same thing happened again! This is in a new build house! Again we had it fixed, paid the bill and then wrote to FP asking for some help as this seemed very unusual and could be a design fault. They would not even consider any compensation, even though we were just asking for a contribution. So be warned, FP are not a sympathetic company and their customer relations stink!

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
