Representation Review
Every six years, Hastings District Council reviews how your Councillors are elected to make sure our communities are represented effectively and fairly. We last held a representation review in 2018. Council’s decision to introduce Māori wards earlier this year means we are required to do another review ahead of the 2022 elections. Council has now put forward an Initial Proposal of representation arrangements and we invite you to give us your feedback. Make your submission by Friday, 1 October.
