Hawke's Bay Jazz Club hosting schools' Jazz Bands

Rhonda Neighbourly Lead from Hastings Central

Thank you so much to Susan Donaldson and Ian (sorry don't have your last name) and all of the Hawke's Bay Jazz Club members for hosting a brilliant evening of dinner and music at the Sailing Club this evening. It was wonderful to see and hear the Jazz bands and singing jazz solos and groups including a Barber Shop Quartet - they were absolutely brilliant.

I would like to publically honour and thank Anton Wuts and David Self and all of the teachers who made this evening possible. A special thanks to the students and staff of Sacred Heart for turning up tonight - you have gone the extra mile in a week of sadness. Well done Young Lass who sung so beautifully. :-)

Congratulations to all of the players and singers who performed this evening. And a huge thanks also to the bar staff and the most terrific cooks in the kitchen and wait staff - as always the food was magnificent. Thank you.

Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? πŸ›»πŸš¨πŸš“

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?

What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?
