Free Fees for Tertiary Training

Rhonda Neighbourly Lead from Hastings Central

Hi there,

Study or train fees-free
If you’re planning to start tertiary study or training for the first time you may be eligible for fees-free support.
If you’re a New Zealander or are ordinarily resident in New Zealand and were at school in 2017, 2018 or 2019 (other than as an adult student), you may qualify for the equivalent of one years’ fees-free provider-based study or two years’ industry training in 2019.
If you’re not a recent school leaver, and you’ve done less than half a year of tertiary study or training (whether in New Zealand or in any other country), you may also qualify.

I will try to find the actual link and post it as it has not copied just here properly. The other place to get the info is from your local High School. If the receptionist does not know as for the Person in charge of NZQA/NCEA information to give you a call. Hope this helps. If you know more and can add to this, please do so in the comments. Many thanks in advance.

Kind regards
Rhonda Diprose
