Farmers Returns Policy has tightened up.
HI Folks,
Just letting you know that if you are like me and sometimes buy things at Farmers to 'check them at home and then take back what you don't actually want', Farmers in Hastings seem to have a new management policy. The docket still says 14 days to return as it always has. The part that has changed which is absolutely their right to do so is that the 'unwritten kindness' they have shown in the past no longer applies. I was a little surprised today to try and return something that was a little over the official return date to be told they are tightening up so I was unable to return it.
Absolutely understand, but as it is different to years worth of previous 'late returns by me' - thought I might let you know in case you need to know of the new 'tightening up'.
So pleased I have learnt my lesson on a single item that was on sale and not on a bag of things!! Phew!
This is not a grumble - I think the staff at Farmers are great!

Scam Alert: Bank cold calls
ASB is warning customers about reports of cold calls from scammers claiming to be from ASB. These scammers are trying to obtain personal information, including usernames, dates of birth, and verification codes sent to your mobile phone.
🛡️ The "Caller Check" Test
If you get a call from someone claiming to be from ASB and you’re unsure, just ask them for a Caller Check. You will then be able to verify the call through the app.
Remember, banks will:
❌ Never ask for your banking passwords, PINs, or verification codes
❌ Never need to know your full credit card number – especially the CVC
❌ Never ask you to download software or remotely access your device
❌ Never ask you to purchase gift cards or transfer funds.
If you have received a phone call and think your account has been compromised, call ASB on 0800 ASB FRAUD (0800 272 372), or visit your local branch.
