Knowledge Bank in conjunction with Hastings District is having a Gala Family Day as part of the 150th Anniversary of HDC. We are looking for a PA system that we can use for speeches and to play music for the performers - being a nonprofit organisation we are really looking for something for free - or at a low cost - the Gala Day is on 5 November. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
