Knitting, Crochet, Weaving, Embroidery and other Fibre Crafts
A Creative Fibre Group meets in the Hastings Library on the mezzanine floor today from 1.30 to 3.30pm. We meet the first and fourth Sat of the month. Come along to meet us and see if you want to join. We are happy to teach you knitting, crochet, weaving, embroidery, etc or just bring your own fibre craft along to socialise with other like minded people. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
