SIX60 Road closures
Due to Saturday night’s SIX60 concert at Tōmoana Showgrounds, surrounding roads will be closed from 1pm – 1am. Residents have been advised of the closures and will have access to their homes at all times. For those who have purchased carpark passes, you’ll need to access parking via the main entrances on Kenilworth and Karamū roads. There is a drop-off zone accessible via the Kenilworth Road entrance closest to Karamū Road. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
