This is what it's all about *biking!*

Billie Sue from Revolution Bikes

Hi neighbours, maybe you're wondering what Revolution Bikes is all about. Well in a nutshell we're a friendly local bike shop and we've chosen to specialise in ebikes and mountain bikes.

That can be confusing for some folks when they see that we also sell kids bikes and other types of bikes like pathway bikes too! Trust us, it's like this - our focus is on quality products, personal service, and knowing our industry and what local families need.

We know the local riding conditions, and we know the best type of bikes for that, and after owning Revolution Bikes since 21 December 2009, we know what people are looking for and which of their needs we want to meet.

This means we don't try to be the cheapest source of bikes. We are the best, not the cheapest. I'll write more about this in a separate post perhaps, but I suspect people who only want the cheapest have already switched off!

So I'll put up a few of our favourite ebike photos, these bikes are ones that meet our expectation of quality and price, e.g. good value for money, worth paying for, utilising quality and current technology, comfortable and attractive, and something we recommend to our friends and our parent's friends.

You can find all these bikes on our website, just look in whatever category e.g. Leisure e-bikes, or e-mountain bikes to find them.

As always, when you want to talk about bikes please get in contact (phone, email, website, facebook messenger, or from a few meters away at the store!)

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
