Free fitness and Fun at Pettigrew Green Arena
Free to come & try pickleball....suits all ages and fitness levels...10 - 90yo the fastest growing sport in the USA at Friday Funday, 24th January, 9am -10am Pettigrew green Arena in Taradale. Its free so come along & have some fun and meet new people & have a go. All you need is non marking court shoes, tuition and everything else is supplied. This is low impact, easy to learn, & heaps of FUN (hence it is growing so fast in the USA it is astounding). I will warn you, this sport can be very ADDICTIVE, once you play you will want to play as much as you can. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

CAROLS ON THE GREEN
Sunday 1 December, 4-6.30pm, on H N Village Green. Koha sausage sizzle, Santa, Bay Cities's Symphonic Band, Dianne Abraham, Men in Black, Hukarere Girls' College, carol singing. Bring your chairs and a picnic basket and join the festivities. If inclement weather, we'll move into the church.
