Cycle way closed temporarily

Communications team from Hastings District Council

Cycleway temporarily closed: A decision to temporarily close a part of a Hastings cycle trail has been made by the New Zealand Cycle Trail board, while ways to make it safer are investigated.
The affected cycle path, known as the Tuki Tuki Loop, runs from the Waimarama and Te Mata Rd intersection and along Tuki Tuki Rd onto Moore Rd. Hawke's Bay Trails, which looks after the region's cycleways, will be looking at ways to improve safety along the route. In the meantime maps are being changed to reflect the temporary closure, cycleway signs are being removed, and cycle businesses and associations have been advised. Please share this message with your cycling friends. For more information email NZ Cycle Trails using the link: www.nzcycletrail.com...
