Biking is Not Cancelled in Level 3!

Billie Sue from Revolution Bikes

Hi friends and neighbours, many of you have been reaching out to us for help with your biking needs, and we are so glad that we can help you now that NZ is in Level 3.

Of course like most businesses we've turned our usual way of trading on it's head.

- Our website is receiving orders again and we are shipping them with the couriers who are doing a great job of staying contactless.

- You can order on the website and choose to click and collect in a contactless way at our Havelock North store, there is no fee for this at all.

- Lots of recent inquiries are random and won't find an answer easily on the website (sometimes you just want to talk to a real person right?) - so phone us at the shop on 8778477 and we'll help you out. There are a lot of kids birthdays happening at the moment and we can usually sort out your needs pretty quickly with a chat.

- Our workshop is OPEN. Bring your bike to the side door where you can park it in the stand provided and one of our staff will write the service ticket for it. We will wash it outside before it's allowed into the workshop.

- The showroom is closed for browsing under level 3. Luckily we have a massive amount of space at our side door to allow for social distancing requirements, so we can talk you through what you need from many meters away.

- All payments are contactless (you cannot enter the shop to use eftpos or cash). To facilitate this we email you an invoice to pay online by bank transfer. We can also take credit card payments over the phone (note there is a small fee for CC transactions).

- We are offering bike home pick up and delivery for locals if you need repairs and are unable to get to the shop under level 3. There is a small fee for this.

All staff are well, and we want to stay that way, so please follow the government directives and stay at home if you are unwell or are self isolating!

Be well,
Billie Sue @ Revolution Bikes

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.

When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?

Live Q&A: Garden maintenance with Crewcut

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

This Wednesday, we are having another Neighbourly Q&A session. This time with John Bracewell from Crewcut.

John Bracewell, former Black Caps coach turned Franchisee Development Manager and currently the face of Crewcut’s #Movember campaign, knows a thing or two about keeping the grass looking sharp—whether it’s on a cricket pitch or in your backyard!

As a seasoned Crewcut franchisee, John is excited to answer your lawn and gardening questions. After years of perfecting the greens on the field, he's ready to share tips on how to knock your garden out of the park. Let's just say he’s as passionate about lush lawns as he is about a good game of cricket!

John is happy to answer questions about lawn mowing, tree/hedge trimming, tidying your garden, ride on mowing, you name it! He'll be online on Wednesday, 27th of November to answer them all.
