MENZSHED OPEN.

Ric Coleman from MENZSHED, Hastings.

Hi All, The new MENZSHED at the A&P Showgrounds is now open, and I think we could well have our first female member. Yes, women are allowed to join Menzshed, but you are not treated differently from our Men. So be prepared, and yes, now we are at our new larger premises, we are looking for members to join us. Male/Female. $30.00 per year membership. All you need is to pass our sense of humour test, and willing to have a go at just about anything. Come and visit for a free tour, and if you make it about 10 am., $2.00 will get you a tea or coffee and a bikkie. To find us? Just come down Kenilworth Road to gate 2, go straight ahead to the exhibition hall and turn right. We're on the right about 100 metres. Lost? phone/txt Ric (Chairman) 0212140624

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
