Welcome to our Queen’s birthday holiday competition
Anne & I are very much looking forward to the public holiday for the Queen’s Birthday, are you?
To get you in the mood for the holiday weekend (especially if the weather stays F-A-B like it is now) here is a chance for you to win a $100 voucher for The Warehouse. All you have to do is to answer these five simple questions about the Queen & her family:
1. What date does the Queen celebrate her actual birthday?
2. What two military roles did the Queen fulfil in WW2?
3. Which bridesmaid stuck her tongue out at Harry & Meghan’s wedding?
4. How old was the queen when she ascended the throne?
5. How many horses pulled the Queen’s carriage to her coronation?
See what I mean - easy peasy! Send us your answers by message or email nick@earsuctionhawkesbay.co.nz to keep your answers private.
The winner will be selected totally at random from those who get all 5 questions right from either Facebook or Neighbourly, provided they have liked us and shared this post on Facebook or liked this post on Neighbourly, follow us and then shared it on Facebook or Twitter. Remember that we cannot see whether you have liked our post on Facebook unless your settings are set accordingly.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
