Lawn Scarifying

Matthew from Havelock North

Hi, I have a commercial lawn scarifier and I am going to start offering to scarify people's lawns locally.
If you want to have a great looking lawn that is healthy and better survives our hot summers, scarifying once or twice a year is a really crucial part of your maintenance programme.
For an average lawn I would charge $150 however depending on the size this could be slightly more if you have a large lawn.
I am also happy to advise on the right weedkiller, fertiliser and seed (you don't get them from Mitre 10!) and I can apply them for you a couple of weeks before scarifying if you need it. Cost for this would depend on your lawn but I'll do it for a lot less than anyone else and allow you to access the best chemicals on the market.

Please either give me a call on 027 519 8146 or email me at mrmbennett@hotmail.com

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
