For personal reasons I need to sell my commercial cleaning franchise (National New Zealand Franchise). This is a very profitable franchise, the main franchisor will supply you with all your contracts, invoice and collect monies. You are paid every two weeks, regardless if the client has paid.

On average I earn $3000 a fortnight after franchise fee and withholding tax. I generally work from 2pm until 8pm. Lot more work is available if you want it or perhaps get your partner involved. The main Franchisor runs regular training courses, including hard floor polishing, window cleaning etc.

I am selling my sign written van and specialist cleaning equipment, i.e. Floor Polisher, Jet wash, 5.4m poles etc.

You choose what level of turnover (GROSS TURN OVER or GTO) you would like from the main franchisor and pay a fee for it, I am current working on

Please contact me if you would like further information.

Hi, I am the Managing Consultant for a recruitment company based the Hawkes Bay and I am trying to help out one of my candidates with getting to work.

Darin is one of my best workers and he recently had his bicycle stolen which was his only means of transport and he cannot afford to buy another unless he gets work, which he can't get to - catch 22.

So, short story long........ I would like to buy him a bike and want to know if anyone has one for sale that I can pick up prior to Monday. Not a lot of spare money available but open to anything

Many thanks

This year the theme for Get Ready Week is Prepared Kids. We know that when kids are involved in preparing for emergencies and learning about natural hazards, they encourage their families to be more prepared and play a more active role in responding to and recovering from emergencies.

As part of Get Ready Week 2016, we are launching our redeveloped schools resource What’s the Plan, encouraging schools to update their emergency preparedness plans and use the new resource to build resilience as a life skill for their students.

Here are our top tips for Prepared Kids
1. Give the school or day care a list of three people who can pick the kids up if you can’t get there.
2. Talk to your kids in an honest (but not scary) way about what might happen in an emergency, what you can do to keep safe, and what your plan is for if you can’t get home. The more involved they are, the less scared they will be if an emergency does happen.
3. Make a plan with your kids. Sit down together and talk about the things you need every day and work out what you would do if you didn’t have them. Grab a piece of paper and write down what you agree, who you need to contact and things you need to do to get ready.
4. Get your kids involved in getting supplies and checking them regularly. In an emergency you could be stuck at home for three
days or more. You probably have most of these things already, and you don’t have to have them all in one place, but you might have to find them in a hurry and/or in the dark.

Stuff regularly has the headline "What's Happening In...." followed by the neighbourly area. Sometimes the teaser headlines show items relevant to Hastings even though nominally in Napier.
We can choose which areas within our 'neighbourhood 's want to see postings from, so why can't our 'neighbourhood' be Hawke's Bay rather than Hastings, does anybody know?
Sometime the headlines indicate topics from other areas that are nationally relevant, but we seem unable to access them. By posting these headlines in this area, but not enabling access to see them, Stuff is just being irritating.

Tiler Wanted

Jeanette from Havelock North

Does anyone know of a tiler who is available to do a small bathroom job.  1.5 metres square in total.  I have tried a few already but they all seem to be very busy and no one is keen to do smaller jobs like this.
