Recycling update
Recycling resumes on Monday 27th.
Please don’t overfill your recycling crates. Flatten your boxes, cans and plastic bottles. If you have too much paper, ask your neighbours have room, or need it for fire starting. Or post on here, or other social media, if you want to get rid of paper for fires, craft or packing.
People may also be able to be able to use plastic bottles for cloches for seedlings, or tins for seed pots. I expect a lot of people are going to look at growing their own produce.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
Do you think this ban is reasonable?
