CALLING ALL CREATORS...
CALLING ALL CREATORS, RE-CREATORS, CRAFTERS, REPAIRERS, RESTORERS, UPCYCLERS AND RECYCLERS!
We are going to market!
I am looking for stall-holders for a new market. The Sustainable HB Market.
If you or your business is all about being sustainable and minimising waste, through repairing and restoring items, or creating new from old, or from salvage, I want you to join me.
I’m not just talking about arts and crafts, clothing and bric’a’brac, I’m talking about furniture, housewares, tools and hardware, clothing and cushions, and arts and craft. If you make it, re-make it, salvage and save it, I want you to be part of Hawkes Bay's new market.
I am looking at 4 big markets a year (every season), starting in September, where you can showcase your products, talents and businesses.
Are you unemployed/retired and looking to earn some extra money with your hobby, or trying to start or grow your own repair/restoration business? Are you a carpenter/knitter/sewer/sculptor/upholsterer/turner/handyperson/classic car restorer/artist etc, are you a small business person doing your part to replace single use plastics with environmentally sound products, or are you trying to do something good for the environment as you make a little pocket money? Let’s do it together!
Email me at store@re-new.nz and tell me your story.
Let’s see if we can show the rest of the world how we do Sustainable in Hawke’s Bay. #sustainableHBmarket

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
Do you think this ban is reasonable?
