Election and the Virus
Is it time to consider cancelling this year's election (do we want hundreds of people getting together in one place such as voting places, touching the same pens etc) - should the Government consider forming an all party coalition to run the country until the crisis is over and then go into election mode?? Personally I can't see the point of an election when it;s likely to spread the virus through a huge amount of contact between people - I also believe that all parties could have some good input into how to handle the situation with the virus and the economy - put aside party politics for a time and have a combined government (small G) with consensus decisions. Back to petty bickering after a vaccine is found!
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
Do you think this ban is reasonable?
