Holiday goers

Jk from Hastings Central

I drove to tauranga yesterday in the truck for work (essential services) and it was amazing and frustrating to see the number of people trying to leave/arrive in towns with their cars packed up to go away on holiday!!!!! Rotorua police 🚨 did a fine job of setting up road blocks out of the township but many were still using side roads to escape. Also noticed that here in hastings too.... People don't realise that the ones who are staying home to save lives are the ones looking out our windows watching and seeing people do these things.... Not to be nosy but because there isnt much else to do!!! We are all going to suffer cause some prick wants to self isolate in their holiday home. Shame on you!

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
