Terracycle Collection Point - A collection point is where the local community can drop their used SEALORD POUCHES, FONTERRA YOGHURT POUCHES, any GLAD FOOD STORAGE (including Gladwrap), COLLECTIVE SUCKIES POUCHES, and/or COLGATE ORAL CARE (Toothpaste tubes, toothbrushes, plastic toothbrush packaging, floss packaging, interdental brushes, empty pumps, empty stand up toothpaste bottles, any non-electric toothbrush, all oral care non-recyclable packaging and/or cardboard toothpaste packaging can be dropped off.
Scam Alert: Bank cold calls
ASB is warning customers about reports of cold calls from scammers claiming to be from ASB. These scammers are trying to obtain personal information, including usernames, dates of birth, and verification codes sent to your mobile phone.
🛡️ The "Caller Check" Test
If you get a call from someone claiming to be from ASB and you’re unsure, just ask them for a Caller Check. You will then be able to verify the call through the app.
Remember, banks will:
❌ Never ask for your banking passwords, PINs, or verification codes
❌ Never need to know your full credit card number – especially the CVC
❌ Never ask you to download software or remotely access your device
❌ Never ask you to purchase gift cards or transfer funds.

Camera footage
Hi does anyone in the Raureka Hastings area have cameras on or facing towards Oliphant road that were operating on 27th Feb that could have captured a black hatchback vehicle between 10.25-10.40am travelling down Oliphant road and running over my friends dog. The vehicle dragged the dog and stopped by the shop and got out to have a look then took off. Any assistance be greatly appreciated. Thanks
