How does one go about getting involved in this?
Ie who do I contact, if I wanted to offer my home as a possible option..
(Would they want someone who has pets, I wonder?)
Appreciate any insights you may have to offer!

Efforts to conserve water has seen a 20 per cent reduction in the last week from the peak. The situation is not back to normal yet so water restrictions remain in place, however the savings so far mean the community splash pads can be turned back on. Last Thursday's ban on automated garden watering systems, including sprinklers remains. With residents asked to limit outdoor use to hand held-hoses between 6am and 8am, and 7pm and 9pm.
