💐What I Want from my Children💐

Marie from Flaxmere

💐What I Want from my Children💐

I want you to know how much I love you.

I want you to remember to be kind and have empathy for others. I want you to know that I think about you daily and worry about you, because Mums never stop worrying about their children. I want you to be happy and healthy. I want you to make good life choices.

I want you to feel valued and I want you to use your life to pursue your dreams. You see, I don't really want or need anything from you, I want things for you. That's all a mother ever wants. We want our children's happiness above all else.

And finally, I want to see you, but if we aren't in the same household, we will do it by phone or video chat this year, because I want us all to be safe. I love you.

Love, Mum 💝💝💝💝

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
