Parks and reserves update: The playgrounds and sports fields are fine however we are asking that people stay away from treed areas in the parks and reserves. Our teams are taping off dangerous areas as they inspect them and the entrances to four reserves in Havelock North are being closed: Tainui, Tauroa, Tanner, Kairunga. Priority is being given to clearing trees and branches that pose a threat. Please keep away from the fallen trees and debris - take extra care out there.
