Buying a reliable car

Hello all,
My son who has just returned from 3 years overseas needs a reliable car in good condition.......I want him to regularly come home to HB from Wellington!
He is looking for a medium size car ie Hatchback, Sedan or Station wagon, built from around year 2010, with kilometres under 100,000 km. Have you anything that might fit the bill?
