Visitors to Santa's Wonderland in Hastings are on track to smash last year's record of 9000 children.
Anyone wanting to see the big man in person can visit the Heretaunga Street mall until December 24 for the Christmas extravaganza. Santa will be on hand each day to gather present lists, tell tales of the North Pole and take photos.
