Concrete spatter from roadworks
Was anyone travelling between Palmerston North hand Hastings on Monday night and effected by concrete spatter from roadworks? If so, can you let me know where you picked it up and (if possible) who the roading company was? We didn't see any "wash your car" signs you normally see at the sights using concrete when resurfacing. We arrived home in the dark and didn't see the front of our car was covered. We parked the car up and only returned to it today and have a serious problem on hand. I've been trying the concrete cleaner from Bunnings and it's mildly useful at best.
Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
