A spray-on anti-skid surface is on trial in some of Hamilton's most plagued street racing spots.
Hamilton City Council has started with three streets - and some local business owners are hoping to see the end of gatherings that have left debris and rubbish.
The special paint is described as a "high friction surface" that makes it harder to lose traction.
