Poll: Should McD's ditch plastic straws?
Morning neighbours! Our front page story today features three Hamilton high schoolers who made a plea to fast food giant McDonald's to adopt a 'straw on request' policy, but the burger chain shrugged off the request. Do you think it's reasonable for staff to ask customers whether they want a straw rather than automatically dishing them out with every drink? Walking path & not one facility I could find to give a dog a drink of water.
Council. I would like to suggest that a dog drinking post or two be erected, with a metal bowl below and a self stopping tap to top it up, to give fresh water to thirsty dogs who accompany their owners on this pathway. Perhaps a water fountain at the top for the owner as well. Thank you.
