NZPost service

Grace from Hillcrest

I purchased a signature required courier bag from NZPost as a return envelope for sending an important document back to me a few days ago. But when it was delivered, it was left outside my house. I never met the courier, nor signed anything as a receiver.

I think I am not the only one who paid extra money but not received the service promised. How do you deal with this, folks? Any place or any way to complain that we can make sure the important documents will be delivered safely according to their promise? Anyone took NZPost to the court, and the result?

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

Star fullback Shaun Stevenson is on his way to Japan, but will still pull on the Chiefs jersey in 2025.

The Waikato Times can reveal that New Zealand Rugby have opted to grant the one-test All Black a unique short-term sabbatical, one which will see him suit up for the Kubota Spears as early as this weekend, but also see him return early in the Super Rugby Pacific season.

Who'd you like to see as Hamilton's next mayor?

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

Paula Southgate’s decision not to run for Hamilton mayor this year has turned the spotlight on who’ll replace her, with at least three strong, fiscally “conservative” male possibilities.

There were also longer-shot “maybes” from female councillors on the left of the political spectrum when Waikato Times did a ring-around.

Who'd you like to see as Hamilton's next mayor? Tell us your reasons in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).
