COVID-19 free assessement and testing centres
Hey neighbours, Waikato DHB needs to test more people for COVID-19 to protect our community. The DHB has set up a number of Community Based Assessment Centres (CBACs) throughout the Waikato, to assess and test people.
You can help Waikato beat COVID 19. If you have any of the following symptoms - a cough, a high temperature, shortness of breath, a sore throat, sneezing, a runny nose, or a temporary loss of smell - get to your local Waikato CBAC to be assessed.
They are open every day - no bookings or referrals needed. It is safe to travel here during lockdown.

PM says the ‘war on farming’ is over, at Fieldays’ Mystery Creek
The rural sector will pull the country out of recession, Prime Minister Christopher Luxon told farmers at Mystery Creek on Tuesday.
Luxon’s main message was that farmers are not villains, they are “partners” of the Government and the saviours of the New Zealand economy.

Tributes flow for Paul Galletta
Paul Galletta, “a real Waikato guy”, was farewelled by police and the rugby community at FMG Stadium on Wednesday.
A crowd of nearly 1500 gathered to celebrate the life of Galletta, who died at the age of 62 on November 23.
