ANALYSIS: In a first test of the year that could conceivably not have featured any debutants, the All Blacks could well now run two in the loose forwards alone, as Wallace Sititi’s injury puts Scott Robertson’s best-laid plans up in smoke for the series against France.
Sititi, last year’s World Breakthrough Player of the Year as well as All Blacks Player of the Year, was last week ruled out of the three-test series due to a high-ankle injury that requires surgery.

The city's new mayor is setting out his plan
Hamilton City Council is pledging to cut costs and avoid “gold plating” infrastructure as part of a new strategy to limit rates increases, but Mayor Tim Macindoe says central government support may be needed to meet a new national rates cap.
Macindoe said Wellington needed to be “a little more nuanced” and take population growth into account.
